1. Agreement

By accessing listowise.com, using our Chrome extension, or creating an account, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

2. Service Description

Listowise is an AI-powered tool that helps eBay sellers optimize listing titles, descriptions, and product photos. The service is available through our website and a Chrome browser extension.

3. Accounts & Authentication

  • You may create an account using your email address. We use passwordless magic-link authentication — a one-time sign-in link is sent to your email.
  • You are responsible for maintaining access to the email address associated with your account.
  • You may also use the service in a limited trial mode without an account, identified by an anonymous device ID.

4. Credits & Pricing

  • Listowise operates on a credit system. Each optimization request (title generation, description writing, photo analysis) consumes credits.
  • Plans include monthly credits that refresh to the plan allowance. Unused included credits do not roll over.
  • Purchased add-on credits are tracked separately from included plan credits and do not expire unless stated at purchase.
  • Credit pricing and grant amounts are displayed in the app and may be adjusted at any time. Changes apply to future transactions only.
  • Anonymous trial users receive a limited number of complimentary credits.
  • Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable except where required by law.

5. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding agreement to use Listowise.

6. User Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information when creating your account
  • Do not share, sell, or transfer your session tokens or account access
  • Do not submit fraudulent, abusive, or illegal content for optimization
  • Do not attempt to circumvent rate limits, credit limits, or security measures
  • Do not use automated tools to make bulk requests beyond normal usage patterns
  • Review all AI-generated content before publishing to eBay or any marketplace

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code on listowise.com and in the Listowise Chrome extension are owned by Inventowise. AI-generated listing content (titles, descriptions) created for your products is licensed to you for use on eBay and other marketplaces.

8. AI-Generated Content

  • Listowise uses large language models (currently Anthropic Claude) to generate listing content based on your inputs.
  • While we design our prompts for accuracy and compliance with eBay best practices, AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies.
  • You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all content before publishing. Listowise is not responsible for any consequences of publishing AI-generated content without review.
  • AI outputs may vary between requests — identical inputs do not guarantee identical outputs.

9. Photo Uploads

When you submit product photos for analysis, the images are sent to our AI provider for processing and are not permanently stored on our servers. By uploading photos, you confirm that:

  • You own the photos or have permission to use them
  • The photos do not contain illegal, obscene, or infringing content

10. Chrome Extension

The Listowise Chrome extension is provided as a convenience to access our service directly from eBay. The extension:

  • Requires permission to communicate with our API
  • Stores authentication data locally in your browser
  • May be updated automatically through the Chrome Web Store

You may uninstall the extension at any time. Uninstalling does not delete your Listowise account.

11. Limitation of Liability

Listowise is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to:

  • Changes in eBay search rankings or sales performance
  • Errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated content
  • Loss of credits due to failed API requests (credits are automatically refunded on failure)
  • Service interruptions or downtime

12. Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these terms or suspected abuse.
  • You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, your data will be removed per our Privacy Policy.
  • Unused credits are forfeited upon account termination unless otherwise required by law.

13. Changes

We may update these terms as our service evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in Delaware. You waive your right to participate in class action lawsuits.
